Cleveland Browns Done With Johnny Manziel?

USA Today has multiple named witnesses-including Phoenix Suns head coach Jeff Hornacek’s brother John-who place Manziel in Vegas Saturday night.

While much is fodder for media speculation – Was Manziel disheveled and inebriated at the team’s complex last week?

Manziel wore a blonde wig, a fake mustache, glasses and a hoodie to a popular nightclub on the Las Vegas strip, according to ESPN Las Vegas. Here’s the kicker: Manziel introduced himself as “Billy”.

In November, after a video surfaced of Manziel partying with a bottle of Champagne, the Browns demoted him from their starter to the third-stringer.

Prior to Sunday’s news conference announcing the firings of Browns Head Coach Mike Pettine and General Manager Ray Farmer, few people had heard of the name Sashi Brown.

“Well, it doesn’t make you happy when you have to go through another coaching change”, said Thomas, who has played for five coaches since 2007.

Cleveland Cavaliers star LeBron James and his marketing group, LRMR, have a business relationship with Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel, but James is anxious about Manziel the person. Shelton and receiver Andrew Hawkins apparently saw Manziel this week, but did not speak with the QB.

Sports Illustrated’s Peter King reported that Manziel broke team rules by not reporting to the medical staff on Sunday morning prior to the game against Pittsburgh and that “the team couldn’t find him for hours”.

It was the same situation last season with him, but the Brown gave him another shot.

“I’m not exactly sure where Johnny is”, owner Jimmy Haslam said Sunday night.

He announced the report on ESPN 1100’s “Cofield & Company” afternoon show. I know it’s part of the business, and I know you’ve got to win National Football League games.

Johnny Manziel’s time with the Cleveland Browns has been marred with drug and alcohol rumors, run-ins with the law, and a rehab stay. “I was like, ‘How you doing, man?’ He’s like, ‘I’m good'”.

“We’ve made this decision because we don’t believe our football team was positioned well for the future”, Haslam said.
