While waiting for the in-coming U.S. president to make his climate position clear, many now look to the rest of the world to bolster the Paris Agreement.
The appeal came on the penultimate day of a conference which set out to craft a roadmap for enacting the Paris Agreement adopted last December.
The Paris Agreement was signed last December and entered into force on November 4.
Sticking to the 1.5°C limit is feasible, it said in a report for the Climate Vulnerable Forum, a group of more than 40 countries most at risk from climate change.
