Clinton campaign denies staffing changes in works
Several people close to the campaign, particularly in Bill Clinton’s orbit and among donors, acknowledged discontent within the operation and feel the campaign was too slow to recognize and deal with the threat posed by the Vermont senator.
Presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders will participate in the televised event on the evening of February 18.

Yet Sanders refuses to call out actual corruption, like the influence peddling of the Clinton Foundation, for fear of being accused of negative campaigning. She’s voting for a candidate.
The biggest cheers, though, came when Sanders targeted Wall Street and big banks. They are out of touch with America, don’t understand what is going on around the world and are far more interested with the preservation of their own power and influence than they are with governing well or even governing effectively. Nor have I ever heard either one speak up for Sarah Palin, who, like Fiorina, is a woman – but not the political version that appeals to the feminist camp. I am for Bernie being president – of Ben and Jerry’s. Clinton, by contrast, promises to find common ground with Republicans on areas such as infrastructure investment that would, she said, act as a “jobs program”. I get why a lot of people are mad.
Tuesday’s vote could also help measure the level of enthusiasm of some skeptical Clinton supporters. In an interview on Bill Maher’s show on Friday, Gloria Steinem claimed that many young women are choosing to back Bernie Sanders out of a desire to meet men: “When you’re young, you’re thinking, ‘Where are the boys?”
It’s safe to say the Russian leader won’t be in the running.
“He’s honest and fair”.
“It makes you feel good to condemn but it makes more difference if you make something happen”, he said.
The Clinton campaign has been forced to step up its attacks to shore up support.
On Saturday, Clinton spoke candidly about the difficulties and double-standards she faces as a female politician – a topic she rarely addresses other than to promote the historic nature of her candidacy. At that time, her biggest concern was whether or not Vice President Joe Biden or, worse, MA U.S. Sen.
A similar debate is playing out on campuses and in town hall meetings across the state. “I have no idea what they’re talking about or who they are talking to”, Clinton said on MSNBC.
Clinton’s campaign sought to manage expectations with a circular to her supporters, noting that “whatever happens tonight, we’re ready to get back out there and fight twice as hard tomorrow”. No, they’d be attacking her opponent. It was here in 1992 where Bill Clinton declared himself the “comeback kid” after a surprising second-place finish in the Democratic primary. In the image Ratajkowski posed in the snowbanks of New Hampshire wearing a unseasonably small “Bernie” Sanders sweater.
