Clinton flies with traveling press corps for first time

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump spoke at a charter school in Cleveland on Thursday and delivered remarks to a small group of OH voters and members of the press.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to return to OH for the second time in a week with a campaign stop Thursday afternoon at a charter school in Cleveland.

Tonight, Clinton and Trump will participate in the first ever televised Commander-in-Chief forum in NY city.

“Hillary Clinton and her super PACs have spent over $130 million on negative political ads, and yet we are virtually tied (or better) in the most recent national polls and leading in numerous important swing states”, said Steven Mnuchin, Trump’s chief fundraiser, in a statement Thursday.

In a speech Thursday, Donald Trump said he would allocate $20 billion to states to support school choice opportunities.

Clinton made her comments at an LGBT fundraiser in NY late Friday, then walked them back Saturday, saying in a statement that it was “grossly generalistic, and that’s never a good idea”. And he has lifted them up.

“The Democratic Party has trapped millions of African American and Hispanic youth in failing government schools that deny them the opportunity to join the ladder of American success”, he said.

“Those are people we have to understand and empathise with, as well”.

Clinton has not let the media into many private fundraisers, but press was allowed in to hear her remarks Friday. I have no idea, and neither, I imagine, does Trump, nor does he much care at this point, so long as it helps TRUMP MAKE AMERICA (and the federal budget) GREAT AGAIN! .

Mr Trump fired back, first calling her comments “insulting” on Twitter and then issuing an angry statement.

Former president Bill Clinton will headline the annual AFL-CIO Labor Day picnic near Cincinnati.

“For the first time in a long while, her true feelings came out, showing bigotry and hatred for millions of Americans.”

While some polls show Trump trailing Clinton in many battleground states where the election will likely be decided, he has drawn close to even with her in some national polls and even inched ahead in others. “Classified material has a header which says, ‘Top Secret, ‘ ‘Secret, ‘ ‘Confidential.’ Nothing – and I will repeat this and this is verified in the reports by the Department of Justice – none of the emails sent or received by me had such a header”.

Mr Trump’s son Eric took aim at Mrs Clinton’s remarks, posting a photo of a sports arena packed with Trump supporters on Twitter. “Right? The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic – you name it”, she said, before stressing that other Trump supporters are frustrated and need sympathy.
