Clinton gets nod from former Attorney General Eric Holder

The former First Daughter was in New Hampshire on Tuesday to say why she was voting for Hillary and against Bernie as a young mother. “I think a candidate who was originally thought to be the anointed candidate, to be the inevitable candidate, is now locked in a very hard race”, Sanders told reporters.
“Now we’re in the sprint and it is time to draw contrasts”, Clinton added on ABC.
In the linked video from 2008, Clinton says her then-rival Obama’s attacks are “the worst kind of tactics reminiscent of the same sort of Republican attacks on Democrats”. He is less specific in other areas of health care access. At the time, Mr. Sanders served in the House.
“Well I hope he hurries up because you deserve to see the comparison side by side”, Clinton told the crowd in Dubuque. It would erase all the hard-earned successes of the Affordable Care Act, Clinton says, and be at the whim of Republican governors who implement it. Sanders supports Obama’s recent executive action to expand background checks on certain gun purchases, but he has also argued that rural communities, like those he represents in Vermont, rightfully view gun restrictions more skeptically than many urban residents, including many African-Americans.
“Well, maybe not the support from the DNC, but we have the support from the American people”, Sanders claimed.
Campaign officials in ME said they’ve heard from people who are willing to drive to New Hampshire to volunteer.
When Sanders introduced a single-payer bill in 2013, the bill was to be paid for through “an equitable system of progressive taxation, payroll taxes and re-allocation of current dedicated health care expenditures by the federal, state and local governments”.
“Secretary Clinton believes the last thing we should be doing is raising taxes on the middle class”, Sullivan said.
Clinton also said the Sanders plan will lead to a large tax hike to cover costs of universal healthcare, but the Vermont senator says this would be offset by the elimination of private insurance premiums.
“I’m not nervous at all”. Further, the Clinton campaign is wrong.
In a statement Tuesday, Clinton’s campaign said: “Since the campaign started, we have said this race will be a competitive, tough race that would tighten and we’d have to earn the nomination”.
KEENE, New Hampshire (CNN) – Bernie Sanders could break his pledge to release details on how he would pay for his health care plan before the Iowa caucuses, according to a top aide.
“Not at all, I had a different sense of the rhythm of this campaign, ” she said.
Clinton has raised huge funds for her presidential bid, but war chests are made to be padded, especially if a long slog lies ahead. So I think, ya know, it’s fine that she wants to pick on this issue.
