Clinton leading in new poll but support shrinking

Sanders’ appeal in Wisconsin will likely be centered in liberal hubs like Madison and Milwaukee, where he will compete with Clinton for African American voters.
“I want you to not only tell people what we’re against, what we’re fighting against, what we’re going to stop, I want you to tell them what we’re for”, Clinton said.
Jennifer Palmieri, Clinton’s communications director, struck a similar tone: “Have you seen a Republican debate?”.
“Her team is nimble”, Colbert said.
But Palmieri then added, “In the last month, Sanders has got increasingly personal and negative”.
“The last thing we need is to throw our country into a contentious debate about health care again”, she continued.
“We make a mistake in trying to measure what Sen”.

After splitting this year’s first two states with Sanders, Clinton also renewed her assertion that her unexpectedly strong rival was energizing voters with promises “that can not be kept”. “There’s absolutely nothing negative about each candidate holding each other accountable for their votes and for their statements”, Joel Benenson, one of Clinton’s senior strategists, told CNN. In December, Sanders had to sue to regain access to the party’s database after the Clinton campaign accused his people of improperly accessing their data.
At one time, often referred to as America’s “first black president”, Clinton was introduced by Tennessee Rep. Steve Cohen (D), who said that while Clinton was, in fact, “not the first black president…he was a heck of a stand in”. “I think we’re looking really good with a whole lot of momentum for Super Tuesday”.
Clinton, who has eagerly embraced Obama’s legacy, said Sanders had called Obama weak and a disappointment, and “that goes further than saying we have our disagreements”. Instead, they argue, that choice should be left to the victor of this fall’s presidential election.
The mounting negativity is driven in part by the anxieties of the Clinton campaign.
Sanders, who is also courting black voters in the South, has talked in recent debates about reforming the criminal justice system. Yet, a minor controversy occurred at the dinner between Sanders and Clinton supporters over the issue of campaign swag and signs.
