Clinton on emails: ‘It is a drip-drip-drip’
Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton maintained Sunday that she has done all she can to take responsibility and “be as transparent as possible” about the use of her private email server while she was secretary of state.
“There’s only so much I can control”, she said. “But it’s obvious what happened”.
Against the odds, Clinton nevertheless lurched into the truth. Hillary was the one who was hiring private detectives, such as Ivan Duda, since 1982 so that she could get the names and addresses of Bill’s girlfriends so that she could “get rid of all these bitches he’s seeing”. Furthermore, Hillary Clinton’s deal with UBS was not technically in violation of the law – nor has she been formally charged with any misconduct in connection with the controversial emails.
The former president even compared the controversy to that of the Whitewater scandal that beset his own campaign and administration back in 1992. “[Bernie] Sanders [I-Vt.] have laid out detailed policy positions, talked about what they would cost”, he said.
And so – but I do believe that all of us can make a lot of strides as a country in reducing infant mortality and eradicating childhood hunger.
TAPPER: You had some other tough words for Hillary Clinton this week, when she announced that she was going to oppose the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Spielberg’s “likability lessons” were one of the first things to fail as Hillary’s presidential campaign intensified, Klein wrote.
The former Maryland governor noted that he came out against the project a year ago, and alleged Clinton’s opposition was made out of political expediency and based on public opinion polls and focus groups. “This is a contact sport”. But what I have tried to do in explaining this is to provide more transparency and more information than anybody that I’m aware of who’s ever served in the government and I’m happy to do that because I want these questions to be answered. They’re not giving the job away.
The revelation about the earlier emails came the same day the State Department said it had found previously undisclosed emails related to the Benghazi terror attack on Clinton’s private email account.
Clinton put the nation through a rollercoaster of uncertainty for an entire year in 1998 because he could not keep his trousers zipped in the Oval Office with a young star struck White House intern, and he was not man or president enough to admit he was wrong until he perjured himself and asked others to do the same.
Conflicted… Hillary Clinton told her husband, Bill Clinton, she wasn’t interested in putting on a false facade for the sake of publicity. Clinton referred to Republicans’ suggestions that she used the private email server to assert an unusual level of control over which of her emails are susceptible to public records inquiries as “another conspiracy theory”.
