Clinton rips into Sanders during Ames speech

Sanders has argued that he is a more authentic choice to be the party’s nominee as he tries to undermine Clinton’s double-digit lead in national polls by gaining ground in the important early nominating states of Iowa and New Hampshire.

New Hampshire, which borders Sanders’s home state of Vermont, remains ready for Bernie, with a new Monmouth poll showing Sanders with a 14-point lead.

A Monmouth University poll released Tuesday found Sanders leading Clinton in New Hampshire, 53% to 39%.

Facing a narrowing primary contest, Hillary Clinton ripped into rival Bernie Sanders on Tuesday, saying the Vermont senator was offering unrealistic policies and overstating his anti-establishment credentials.

“There are some parts of that bill are right, and there are some parts of that bill that are wrong, and I am, as I said several months ago, willing to re-look that”, Sanders said, refusing to say he regrets the vote.

The endorsement also comes days after Clinton won the endorsement of former Rep. Gabby Giffords and retired astronaut Mark Kelly, as well as Sybrina Fulton, the late mother of Trayvon Martin.

“I come from a rural state, and the views on gun control in rural states are different than in urban states”, Sanders said during the October 13 Democratic presidential debate in Las Vegas.

While I support Bernie Sanders in the upcoming primaries, I also know that Hillary Clinton winning the nomination is likely.

The presidential contender said recent attacks on his campaign are “an indication that the Clinton campaign is getting very, very nervous” after months of ignoring Sanders’ progress.
