A bitter war of words is breaking out between Hillary Clinton and Bernie Sanders in New Hampshire as the next leg of the Democratic race heats up.

Surveys since August have shown Sanders leading Clinton in New Hampshire with increasing support.

Although the Nevada vote is before South Carolina, Clinton has to make a statement in this state and in the southern states that follow.

Clinton, for her part, took to Twitter to shoot back against a criticism that the 74-year-old senator hand levied on her the night before.

Ronna Romney McDaniel, chairwoman of the Michigan Republican Party, has accused Clinton of using Flint as a “political prop” to bolster a struggling campaign against Sanders, a democratic socialist from Vermont.
