Clinton to boy: ‘Future is going to be amazing’ | Politics
Yesterday, the extremely popular Facebook page, Humans of New York, posted an interview with a teenage boy who openly expressed fears about the reaction he would encounter from other people because of his homosexuality.
A Facebook spokesperson told the Telegraph: “A bug with our technical infrastructure led to the Humans of New York post not being visible temporarily”.
Our favorite, though was from presidential candidate Hillary Clinton (yes, it was really her), who wrote, “Prediction from a grown-up: Your future is going to be wonderful”.
‘You will surprise yourself with what you’re capable of and the incredible things you go on to do. “Find the people who love and believe in you – there will be lots of them”.
Clinton signed the comment with “-H”, which is used on social media to indicate that she is the author the post.
Seems that Facebook removed the young man’s fearless statement and is now preventing me from uploading any further photos.
The collection, snapped by photographer Brandon Stanton captured the attention of people everywhere once more, when the above picture of a young teenager was posted. It is now still on Instagram and I’m trying to figure out how to get it back up, ‘ he said.
Hillary Clinton took to Facebook on Friday to offer words of encouragement and advice to a gay teen.
However, the message for the boy from the ex- Secretary of State was gone.
