Clinton to Stress American Exceptionalism in Ohio
Hillary Clinton’s lead over Donald Trump is narrowing in Wisconsin, and Russ Feingold’s edge over Ron Johnson in the Badger State’s crucial U.S. Senate race also is shrinking, according to the latest Marquette Law School Poll.
Hillary Clinton’s presidential campaign will begin airing ads in Arizona on Friday, multiple Clinton aides tell CNN, a move that comes hours after Donald Trump said “there will be no amnesty” in a fiery immigration speech that Clinton aides dubbed “his darkest speech yet”.

“Some of Trump’s supporters will be frustrated if he eases his promise of mass deportations, but they won’t find a more aggressive anti-immigration candidate elsewhere, so they’ll likely stick with him”, Anderson said. And, as she warned about the dangers of electing Trump, she offered herself as a well-prepared alternative – for Republicans as much as Democrats. She highlighted the US role as a global superpower and celebrated “American exceptionalism”, a term frequently used by conservatives in a foreign-policy context.
Clinton, who has an edge in many state and national polls, has been aggressively courting Republicans and independents since the party convention.
“After today’s trip, we still know where Trump stands: an immigration plan that would deport 16 million people, end birthright citizenship, repeal DACA (Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals) and build a Dollars 25 billion wall and stick the American taxpayers with the bill”, Mr. Podesta said.
Van Mobley, Thiensville village president and one of the most vocal Trump supporters in Wisconsin, said the numbers are tightening because voters are growing discontented with report after report of Clinton scandal.
Clad, now senior adviser for Asia at the Center For Naval Analyses, released a statement through the Clinton campaign on Wednesday morning praising Clinton for “helping other Asian countries counter Chinese bullying in the western Pacific”.
The Clinton campaign’s tough language about Trump came after the former secretary of state on Wednesday urged veterans at an American Legion conference to reject the mogul’s view of the world, arguing he doesn’t have what it takes to build and maintain alliances.
Clinton’s speech Wednesday offered the opportunity to drive home an argument that is central to her critique of Trump – and central to her case for why voters in battleground states such as OH should not be tempted to support him.
