Clinton, Trump cancel political events after police deaths

With less than two weeks before the Republican National Convention begins in Cleveland, Trump is looking to shore up support with GOP representatives and senators even as he faces backlash from some members of the party.
Trump has yet to announce any Cabinet choices, or his running mate, though on Thursday, Newt Gingrich confirmed that he is being vetted for vice president, according to CBS News. Very interesting day! These are people who love our country!
