Clinton, Trump look to overcome weaknesses on debate stage

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump tried to make the case that he’d do more to help women from the White House than Democratic rival Hillary Clinton, a lifelong champion of women’s rights who would become the nation’s first female president.
Clinton has less ability to get a boost in Utah from the debate, “only because of the ideological leaning of many Utah voters, obviously being predisposed to wanting to support a Republican”, Todd said.

The Trump campaign is targeting key battleground states like Florida, North Carolina, Ohio and Pennsylvania, along with Michigan, Maine, New Mexico, Wisconsin and others. As Breitbart reports, 43 percent of the sample identified as Democrat while only 33 percent identified as Republican. Libertarian Gary Johnson is pulling 12 percent of the ME vote according to our poll, as opposed to 8 percent nationally. The survey showed a statistical tie among likely voters as well. Some 82 percent of GOP voters backed Trump and only 4 percent supported Johnson.
While Clinton is still the likely victor of the election, a prominent and reliable professor believes that Trump is going to eventually come out on top.

Still, Trump has also muddled his message to blacks and Latinos in recent weeks, advocating policing tactics such as stop-and-frisk, which has been widely condemned for promoting racial profiling.
The Republican US presidential nominee told supporters at a rally Saturday in Roanoke, Virginia, that Mrs Clinton has not delivered for women and children. He often stood aside to let the other candidates rip into one another.
