Clinton warns that Trump would plunge economy into recession
Mr Walker, who is himself a convention delegate, said “delegates are and should be able to vote the way they see fit”, the Associated Press reported. Walker told reporters Tuesday he will follow Wisconsin Republican Party rules and cast his ballot for Texas Sen. House Speaker Paul Ryan, the highest-ranking Republican in Congress and the convention chairman, has said he would not interfere in such an effort.
“In America, we don’t begrudge people being successful, but we know they shouldn’t do it by destroying other people’s dreams”, she said. After all, if Trump could not raise any significant money in the month when he became the presumptive nominee why would June, when he has been beset by questions about his readiness to be the GOP nominee, be better?
At the risk of sounding like a broken record, things have not been going well for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign lately. “One reason might be Florida has a larger Hispanic population than the other two states, and Trump has clashed with Hispanic leaders over some of his remarks”. “But what you really have to do is you have to pray to get everybody out to vote for one specific person”, he said. The final agreement, however, dropped or changed some provisions that liberal activist groups – the wing of the party she was courting in the primaries – had strongly criticized.
As many news outlets have pointed out, both Trump and Clinton suffer from historical lows when it comes to measures of favorability. It’s possible that Trump has simply eliminated the need for a campaign, as it has been defined, or that his persona, his celebrity and his social media presence are enough to make up for his massive fundraising, staffing and ad deficits to Clinton.
In that one, he appears to be referring to Clinton blending her personal and official emails on a homebrew server in her house, while she was secretary of state. Among women, Clinton leads 52 percent to 34 percent, after holding a 13-point edge last month.
“Donald Trump’s ideas about the economy and the world will cause millions of Americans to lose their jobs”. She also repeated a comment he made that pregnant employees are an “inconvenience”.
“I understand money better than anybody”, Trump said. Suggesting the United States could default on its debt could cause a “global panic”, she added.
Brushing it aside, Clinton said there was a difference between “getting tough on trade” and starting “trade wars”.
Hillary Clinton’s campaign also launched a website on Tuesday called Art of the Steal.
White voters, for example, favor Trump by a margin of 51 percent to 36 percent, while non-white voters back Clinton by a margin of 72 percent to 15 percent. “Just like he shouldn’t have his finger on the button, he shouldn’t have his hands on the economy”.
For instance, FEC reports show the campaign making about $400,000 in payments to Trump.
Campaign officials say in a statement Tuesday that June marked the campaign’s first full month of fundraising activity.
They say that activity will be reflected in the campaign’s next federal fundraising report. Trump has raised $17.1 million.
‘I have to confess, I talk so much about being a grandmother, now I’m sure I’m going to be talking doubly about being a grandmother, ‘ she said to applause.
The FEC report shows the campaign now owes Trump $45.7 million, after he lent an additional $2.2 million last month. Importantly, Clinton holds a 47% to 39% lead in the all-important swing states – ten states where the winning margin in the 2012 election was less than seven points.
After it was revealed Donald Trump’s campaign only had $1.3 million in the bank this month, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee is sending out his first fundraising email.
