The previous record was set in 1931, when the average for November was 59.9 degrees. This front will bring unsettled weather to the region over the weekend and into next week with colder temperatures and a soaking rain.
While many shoppers are taking advantage of big sales on Friday, the people most likely to get wet going to and from their vehicle will be those shopping from Texas up to OH and MI.

The National Weather Service issued a winter storm watch effective from 6 p.m. Thursday to noon on Saturday stretching from southwest Oklahoma to the Panhandle, with freezing rain expected to begin late Thursday evening.
Black Friday: There’s a 30 percent chance of rain. Rainfall amounts from 1 to 3 inches will be possible across eastern OK with some locally heavier totals from 3 to 5 inches across the Red River Valley of the southeastern quadrant of the state. It will pull enough moisture into the Midlands and bring a chance for rain, especially in the southern Midlands. The clear skies will be around for a majority of the holiday. The better chance for a wintry mix will be Friday afternoon for areas along and south of I-70. Lows will eventually fall into the 30s.
