Cloverfield Lane Preview from The Walking Dead!
In the middle of night filmgoers were hit with a surprise trailer for 10 Cloverfield Lane, the spiritual successor to 2008’s Cloverfield.
We’re still not sure what to make of 10 Cloverfield Lane. Abrams would be involved as the film’s producer. But will others be as satisfied when they find 10 CLOVERFIELD LANE is something much more intimate?
The 60-second trailer, which aired during Sunday’s The Walking Dead, features some new dialogue between Michelle (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Howard (John Goodman), the latter of whom explains that everyone outside of the bunker is dead. I mean, the trailers sure imply there are-during Super Bowl 50 new footage was released, at the end of which we heard a pretty convincing screech suggesting there is something lurking out there.
Paramount has been doing an excellent job revealing very little about the film, which plays off the mystery box strategy that Abrams likes to employ.
It’s been eight years since the original Cloverfield movie, which saw a skyscraper size monster arrive into NY city to terrorise its residents, with the whole thing filmed on a hand-held camera. But the biggest question is how is 10 Cloverfield Lane is considered a “blood-relative” to Cloverfield?
Plot concept: After a vehicle accident, a young woman comes to in an underground cellar, where most of the action takes place.
