In Matthew 7, Jesus Himself says that a tree – and people of faith – are known by their fruit, not just the words they say”.

“Many people voted for Cruz over Carson because of this Cruz fraud”, Trump said in one of his tweets. But when pressed by reporters, he wouldn’t directly take on Cruz.

While Sen. Cruz is brushing it off, Trump isn’t backing down. Cruz later apologized for the email.

He finished second to Ted Cruz in the leadoff caucuses last Monday and some rivals sense weakness even though the billionaire businessman is the favorite in New Hampshire polling.

The comment that Carson had suspended his campaign stemmed from a rumour reported by CNN that a Cruz campaign worker circulated to staffers. “You couldn’t finish in the top 10.’ They said, ‘Don’t do it.’ I said, ‘I have to do it, ‘” Trump told the audience.
