Coach Taylor Has a Very Important Message About Texting at the Movies

Anyone who’s watched Friday Night Lights probably agrees-Kyle Chandler’s portrayal of Coach Eric Taylor was so powerful, so heart-tuggingly inspiring, that asking yourself “What Would Coach Taylor Do?” is the right answer in basically any situation.

Turn off your flipping cell phone when in the theater, or prepare to feel Coach Taylor’s wrath.

“Turn your ***damn cell phones off”, he snarls. Kyle Chandler has once again brought back his Friday Night Lights character, and just like old times, he’s going to use powerfully inspirational invective to get what he wants. “You ruin Coach’s speech. we punt you out of the theater”. Now that is a message that we can get behind.

Or else? They’ll be ejected from the theater like they’re a grumpy parent at a football game.
