Cold and quiet tonight — Sunday night forecast
If you have egg hunts planned, it would be best to do those earlier in the day before snow moves in.
An early April storm seems about right after several snowstorms have rolled through the Philadelphia region in March. Scattered showers are likely throughout the day, starting about 9 a.m. and lasting until 5 p.m., according to the service. The heaviest of the snow will be to the southwest of the city with just a dusting expected in the metro. Areas close to and just south of I-70 could see some moderate snow at times which could lead to slow travel for a period of time from mid to late afternoon.
The warning lasts from 12.15am until 11.45pm on April 2 with the possibility of heavy snow covering the county.
The Met Office has made a shock forecast for SNOW to hit Liverpool on Bank Holiday Monday. A High Wind Watch has been issued for winds 30-40 miles per hour and gusts up to 60 miles per hour or more.
Friday should be sunny with a high of 47, before snow develops at night. South wind 6 to 9 miles per hour. Showers chances will increase overnight as lows fall into the upper 40s. Southwest wind around 10 miles per hour. Sunday’s high in Grand Island will only reach the mid-30s. West wind 8 to 13 miles per hour.
It has also been forecast that some rural communities will be cut-off, with “significant accumulations” and up to 10cm of snow forecast. Winds will be cool and gusty, out of the Northeast between 10-15 miles per hour, keeping things along the coast feeling even cooler. Chance of precipitation is 70 percent. 1 to 3 inches possible. Again look for increasing wind, rain and snow heading into Saturday. There could be a sharp gradient between multiple inches of snow to a light, slushy coating.
There is still the chance of rain, but this will be interspersed with sunny spells and cloud across large parts of the UK. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 36.
