College Gameday chooses Tucson over Tempe
ESPN’s College GameDay is headed to Tucson on Saturday for UCLA’s visit to Arizona, a battle of unbeaten teams with major implications in the rugged South Division of the Pac-12.
If you don’t have a problem with that sign, maybe you’d have a problem with the sign that said “Ole Miss girls are easier than their non-conference schedule”.
The tweet, which has since been removed, featured a sign with a picture of Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn and the words, “If this crap keeps up”.
After a short broadcast stint with ESPN and getting healthy, Meyer accepted the head coaching job at Ohio State University in 2011 and put the Buckeyes to work for the 2012 season. Meyer was admitted to the hospital after experiencing chest pains and later admitted he fought depression and felt “mentally broke”.
The tweet was deleted on Monday. “#EnoughIsEnough #stopthehate”.
Meyer’s daughters Gigi and Nicki weighed in on Twitter to let their feelings be known and I couldn’t agree more with them.
Forget the connection with Meyer working at ESPN for a year after he left Florida, I’m shocked that somebody in Bristol didn’t think to themselves that maybe mocking serious health scares wasn’t exactly “appropriate”.
Urban Meyer has not commented on the sign. “That’s all y’all know anything about”. UCLA is 5-2-1 against the spread in their last eight games and 4-1 against the spread in their last five road games against a team with a winning home record. He took over at Ohio State in 2012.
