Colorado Springs Planned Parenthood shooting victims identified by family
Garrett Swasey, a 44-year-old police officer, was killed. Markovsky’s sister-in-law, Julia Miller, told the Post that Markovsky and her husband, Paul, moved to Colorado about ten years ago.
Jennifer Markovsky, born in Waianae, Hawaii, also leaves behind two children, reports Hawaii News Now.
“We got the dogs back and everything and as we were getting ready to leave he handed us some anti-Obama pamphlets and told us to look over them”, said Post, who said he saw Dear again on Wednesday when the two exchanged pleasantries at the post office. She said there was no armed security when the shooting began. “It was bad for him”, Butler said. The Colorado Springs clinic, though, has been heavily damaged and will be closed for an uncertain amount of time, said Vicki Cowart, the regional head of Planned Parenthood. “I just messaged her Thursday to say happy Thanksgiving”. “She was the most lovable person”.
According to KDRV-TV, family and friends are reporting that Jennifer Markovsky and Ke’Arre Stewart both lost their lives during the multi-hour standoff.
The family of Officer Swasey also took to social media to thank supporters for their condolences.
Outside the clinic, which is cordoned off by yellow police tape, stands a sign surrounded by flowers and a candle that reads, “In loving memory of Officer Swasey and the two other victims”.
Former Olympian Kerrigan described Swasey as a fun-loving, passionate man with a big smile.
In July, anti-abortion activists released undercover video they said showed Planned Parenthood personnel negotiating the sale of foetal organs. Garrett Swasey, a policeman at the local University of Colorado branch, was named shortly after the siege ended Friday.

The official, who lacked authorization to speak publicly about the investigation, spoke on condition of anonymity.
U.S. Attorney John Walsh says officials could pursue federal charges in addition to state homicide ones. One possible avenue is the 1994 Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, which makes it a crime to injure or intimidate clinic patients and employees.
“I believe that’s his military instinct, you know: Leave no soldier behind, leave no civilian behind, just leave no one behind”, an emotional Chandler said.
