Colton Haynes Returning to Arrow Season 4

It seems that once you are a part of team Arrow, you are always a part of team Arrow. So while it’s great that we’ll get to see Haynes once more, one wonders what this news means for Thea’s new relationship, and if it has anything to do with the specter of the mysterious grave that’s still looming over the show since its reveal in the Season 4 premiere.

Since leaving Arrow, Haynes has made an appearance in the San Andreas movie, and his next film role will be in Triumph.

Ever since Oliver Queen’s former right-hand man Roy Harper aka Arsenal packed up his bags and left Star City, fans of The CW’s hit drama Arrow have been anxiously counting down the days until Roy returned. A member of the show since the latter half of Arrow Season 1, Colton Haynes left the show late into Season 3, prompting Roy to exit the team after taking the fall as The Arrow in place of Oliver Queen. After Thea found out Harper was still alive, she tracked him down but was unable to convince him to return with her. Instead, Harper passed his Arsenal costume to Thea and told her to find her own path. And magically the outfit fit.

Colton Haynes is slated to return to Arrow in an upcoming episode, EW has confirmed. “It was always our intention to have him return following his departure last season, but it was a matter of finding the right storyline to pull it off”.

It’s now unknown just how long Haynes will be back on the show, but most fans will probably be glad to hear the news regardless. Details on his return have not been released, but surely Roy will have something to say about Thea’s new bloodlust.
