Colts play in Pro Bowl

With the 50 edition of the Super Bowl set to commence next Sunday between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers, the rest of the leagues all stars will be living it up in attractive Hawaii for the 2016 Pro Bowl between team Jerry Rice and team Michael Irvin. CB Desmond Trufant played a significant amount of snaps, but Team Rice stayed away from his side for the majority of the game.

Wilson, who was the first player picked in the all-star game’s draft, was 8-for-12 for 164 yards. He caught a short pass from Tampa Bay quarterback Jameis Winston in front of Atlanta cornerback Desmond Trufant.

Kansas City tight end Travis Kelce caught two scoring passes for Team Rice.

The NFL Pro Bowl is played at Hawaii’s Aloha Stadium.

Bucs running back Doug Martin led Team Rice with 20 yards rushing on seven carries and the game’s only touchdown on the ground, a 3-yarder in the third quarter.

Irvin, a Hall of Fame receiver, grabbed Wilson, the Seattle Seahawks’ signal-caller, with the first pick in the Pro Bowl roster draft and then stacked his team with a bevy of elite pass-catchers and young running backs.

It’s a small, and mostly unwanted, consolation for Seahawk players selected to play in the NFL Pro Bowl. Three times during the drive, Manning converted on third down en route to hitting five of six passes for 71 yards.

Barr, a second-year linebacker from UCLA, finished with a pair of tackles for Team Irvin.

Team Rice made it a 21-14 game when Raiders quarterback Derek Carr found Kelce over the middle for a 10-yard touchdown.

The clock was run down by Team Irvin to allow the team to finalize a 49-27 victory over Team Rice. Woodson announced during the season that this would be his previous year. The NY Giants’ duo will represent Team Rice in the All-Star Game version of National Football League on Sunday at Aloha Stadium. Seattle cornerback Richard Sherman got a chance to play offense and promptly lost 22 yards on a reverse for Team Irvin in the third quarter. Taylor was intercepted three times overall.

The only negative to the game was the injury to tight end Tyler Eifert, who left the game in a walking boot with a foot injury after injuring himself while diving for a catch. This format drew rave reviews and harsh criticism a year ago and nothing has really changed in the meantime other than the venue changing. He was escorted by his two young sons off the field to rousing cheers from the fans that remained.
