Comic Books Made By ‘Doctor Who’ Author Releasing In April
Sadly, there’s no word on whether Dark Souls will be a permanent addition to Titan Comics line-up or if the upcoming comic will be part of a limited series. But just like everything else in the Dark Souls universe, understanding that story is hard.
A Dark Souls 3 comic book is in the work which will release near the game’s release date in April 2016. George Mann, who is known for his Doctor Who novels, will be writing the series and Alan Quah, the man behind Godzilla: Awakening’s art, will be drawing it. The writer also claims to be a big fan of the video games, which should reassure fans who are curious about the title’s quality.
The book will simply be called “Dark Souls” and aims to tell new stories set within the game’s universe. It will be interesting to see what the comic brings to the franchise, as the series has had a reputation for subtle storytelling and world building.
According to a latest report, “Dark Souls” fans have one more reason to be excited about the incoming April.
The Dark Souls comic book number one will ship with five different covers for fans to choose from, that will take the form of two game covers, a blank sketch cover and two variant covers by artists Joshua Cassara and Marco Turini.
Two weeks after Dark Souls 3, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End launches on PS4. No official information surfaced on how long the “Dark Souls” comics will endure.
