Comic-Con 2015: Star Wars The Force Awakens panel

Fans at San Diego Comic-Cons Hall H were treated to a special look behind the scenes of Star Wars: The Force Awakens by director J.J. It’s hard to absorb it, to put it all together. While talking about getting the role, Gleeson accidentally “spoiled” the name of his command station, much to the dismay of Abrams. It is produced, written and directed by JJ Abrams.
“He’s doing great and working hard”. Abrams, and co-writer Lawrence Kasdan came on stage.
Fisher said the cast and crew of the new Star Wars movies referred to her, Ford and Hamill, as “the legacy people”. “It was really the fans who built the momentum around the release of New Hope”. Among them, we have confirmation that Domhnall Gleeson’s character, General Hux, is evil, and that he’s in charge of the First Order’s new home base, which is called Starkiller. Adam Driver (who plays Kylo Ren) was suspiciously quiet during the whole thing. There is also a preview of Simon Pegg’s cameo and words from cast members Oscar Isaac, Daisy Ridley, and John Boyega professing their love for the Star Wars universe.
The panelists also included Lucasfilm president/producer Kathleen Kennedy, director J.J. It was like a flashback. What really got me was how strongly they pushed for real sets and practical FX, something they could’ve easily ignored. “It was a little bit like before only we looked more melted this time, but in a good way”, she said.
The 70-year-old actor assured moderator Chris Hardwicke and the audience that he was “just fine”. “I walked here”. He said that walking back onto set “should’ve felt ridiculous…”
