Concerts, Fireworks Slated In Downtown, Uptown Ocean City For Fourth Of July
Yachats la de da Parade Fireworks Show: The 20th annual Yachats la de da Parade features an all-day live music and food festival in downtown Yachats. According to the National Park Service (NPS), the show begins at 9:09 p.m. and will last for 17 ½ minutes. At 8 p.m., The Rude Band hits the stage.

The main event will be the fireworks display, scheduled for the completion of the 6:35 p.m. Montgomery Biscuits vs. Biloxi Shuckers game at Riverwalk Stadium. Gates open at noon.
FREE PHILLY POPS PATRIOTIC CONCERT: 8:30 p.m.at Fox Park, Burk and Ocean avenues, Wildwood. Fireworks at 10 p.m. Saturday.
Parking is extremely limited at both locations.
It’s a BIG deal! The celebration, which spans Friday and Saturday, features music, food, entertainment and fun for the whole family on the Minneapolis Riverfront.
Bartlesville will be hosting their annual Freedom Fest on Saturday.
Locals will be able to participate in an apple pie bake-off, a hot dog-eating contest, a bike parade and a wet and dry inflatable bounce park, according to the Avalon Park website. Sure Navy Pier is the home of fireworks twice a week all the way until Labor Day, but their Independence Day show is supposed to be top notch so don’t miss it!
The 126th Takoma Park 4th of July Parade and Fireworks is an all-day event.
Food vendors will be at the event, but visitors may also bring their own food.
On Sunday July 5, everyone is invited to meet at the lighthouse at 9 a.m.to clean up after the celebration. Fireworks on Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights.
Greenleaf Pancake breakfast at 7 a.m., parade at 10 a.m. The Tampa Bay Rays street team and Raymond kick things off at 6 p.m.in Straub Park.
Wauseon: From 4 to 10 p.m. on Friday there will be music and entertainment in Dorothy Biddle Park.
Clarence – Fireworks at 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4, at Clarence Town Park, 10405 Main St., Clarence.
The Fourth of July festivities will get started early with the Richland County Sheriff’s Department Memorial Event; in honor of Deputy Ryan Rawl, who died serving his country in Afghanistan in 2012.
From cities steeped in American history to destinations that go all-out for the celebration of the United States, people looking to travel this Independence Day should add the following places to the itinerary for the fireworks displays alone.
Southaven’s 4th of July celebration will be held at the Bank Plus Amphitheater at Snowden Grove beginning at 6:30 p.m. Picnics & coolers are welcome.
It will also mark the 16th anniversary of the community parade, according to Kirkland City Councilmember and organizer Penny Sweet.
Although the city of Winter Park will not host a fireworks display, guests are encouraged to attend fireworks shows at nearby locations such as Lake Eola Park and Lake Baldwin. Trophies will be awarded for fastest time, most unique design, longest float and the “Titanic” award for most dramatic sinking. Food and drink will be available for purchase, but picnics also will be allowed at this free and public event. The municipal band concert will start at 8 p.m. Fireworks will begin at dusk following the concert.
Harrison Elks Lodge located at 406-408 Harrison Avenue will hold a Tar Beach BBQ on Independence Day starting at 11 a.m. Live music by Appetite for Deception and a fireworks display wrap up Friday night in Independence. If you’re headed over there early, catch the parade at 10 a.m.in downtown Clarkston. 1 to 3 p.m. July 5. Bluegrass music in the evening with performances by Blue Moon Soup and Repeating Arms.
