Connecticut police looking for couple missing for a week
Fifty-five-year-old Jeanette Navin and 56-year-old Jeffrey Navin of Easton haven’t been seen since August. 4 and were reported missing by relatives Friday.
The Easton Police Department and other Connecticut law enforcement agencies continue to seek the whereabouts of Jeanette Navin, 55, and Jeffrey Navin, 56, who have mysteriously disappeared. “They said they sometimes travel so they wanted to make us aware of it. They hadn’t heard from them and it was uncommon for them not to tell someone”.
Their auto was found on Sunday in a park-and-ride lot off Exit 42 of the Merritt Parkway in Westport.
“Now we’re on day seven”. The family members said they last saw the couple on August 4.
Police are combing the auto for clues and looking into their careers. Prior to that she worked at Hurlbutt Elementary School.
The Easton Police Department is working with State Police to find out more about when the vandalism happened and are also looking for any leads that may come from the vehicle, he said.
A couple who recently moved to Easton was reported missing earlier this month and now their family is hoping the public can help find them.
Weston Schools Superintendent Colleen Palmer said the school district was “deeply troubled” that police have not yet been able to locate longtime school employee Jeannette Navin and her husband, Jeffrey. A message on the company’s phone answering system says there is a family emergency. Federal agencies have been alerted about the disappearance.
Anyone with information about the Navins was asked to call the Easton police at 203-268-4111.
