Connecticut Teen Missing After Flying to Morocco to Meet Facebook Boyfriend
Fears are growing for a missing teenage girl after she secretly travelled to North Africa to meet a man she met on Facebook.
Police fear the teenager planned to meet with a suspected online boyfriend, a man on Facebook who calls himself Simo El Adala.
Rebecca Arthur, 17, was last seen being dropped off at the Delta Airlines terminal at the airport on Monday, authorities said.
Arthur, from Connecticut, allegedly convinced her mother that she was going to stay with a friend in California but instead flew to Casablanca.

Arthur’s parents didn’t know about their daughter’s plans, police say.
El Adala says on his Facebook page that he lives in Florida, Uruguay.
She had successfully landed in Casablanca on Tuesday and was found “safe and sound” by Moroccan police, Clinton Police Department spokesman Sgt.
Homeland Security – which is tasked with protecting the American people from terrorist threats – and the Federal Bureau of Investigation were asked to assist local police in the hunt for the blonde teenager.
“We don’t know what her motive was, why she flew to Morocco“, Sergeant Jeremiah Dunn said.
In a comment underneath Arthur’s photo of El Adala one of her friends asks who he is and she replies that “he’s my bf tehehehe loll” (sic).
She was reported missing on Wednesday by her mother after she failed to make contact.
She’s approximately 5 feet tall, 150 pounds, and has red highlights in her hair.
