Conor McGregor Lands Role on ‘Game of Thrones’
This was supposedly confirmed by UFC President Dana White, TMZ reported. You gotta stop looking at the internet, guys! “I’m glad he did it, it’ll be great”, White told Fox Sports Live with Jay & Dan.
“As no stranger to physical violence Conor McGregor will feel right at home in Westeros”, said a Paddy Power spokesman.
While White does make a valid point, the Mayweather-Mcgregor fight would certainly be everything that the Mayweather-Pacquiao fight wasn’t.
“[There are stories about the boxing licence] because he’s the master!”
“He’ll fight anybody, anywhere, anytime, another reason he’s so big, and famous, and rich”.
Spoiler Warning: If you don’t like knowing about new #GameOfThrones characters before you meet them on screen, this article about Conor McGregor’s new character is probably not for you. I hate talking about the Mayweather fight because it’s ridiculous. White claimed that during a conversation with 50 Cent, the rapper relayed Mayweather’s desire to book a super-fight with McGregor.
“Floyd and I have nothing against UFC or any of their fighters”.
McGregor and his head coach, John Kavanagh, denied the UFC’s claim that he willingly gave up the featherweight title and claimed that no member of the UFC brass discussed the matter with them.
While if true this is certainly exciting news, at the same time it is rather hard to imagine him playing an extremely important part in the series. “He’s dead serious about it.’ And I said, ‘I don’t know, man. Call Floyd and see what’s going on'”.
Jose Aldo has once again lashed out at the UFC for making false promises to him and a number of other fighters in different divisions.
