Conor McGregor wants equity in UFC in order to keep fighting
In a message to UFC president Dana White, McGregor said: ‘I’ve got a family now, so I want ownership.
“I want the ownership, I want what I deserve, I want what I’ve earned”. So that’s kind of a little thing in the back of my head.
“I’ve been happy to just come and continue doing what I’m doing, continuing on to – I feel like I’ve out-worn the previous contract”, McGregor said.
He added that the baby is due in May and he’s quite nervous about the whole ordeal.
“It’s not May is it? I thought it was March”. Conan O’Brien owns the UFC now days, so where is my share?

In the early hours of yesterday morning, southpaw McGregor downed Alvarez three times in the opening round, leaving the champion stunned and on the back foot.
The Irishman became a two-weight world champion with a second round TKO victory over Alvarez (fight report).
McGregor managed to knock Alvarez down for a fourth and final time in the second round and the referee put a stop to the bout.
“I just felt you have to bring a hell of a lot more than that to the plate to trouble who I think is the best fighter on the planet right now”. “They have got to talk to me now”.
McGregor clearly understands he’s the engine driving the biggest buy rates, and he’s now got two title belts as leverage. The New York State Assembly voted to legalize MMA in March.
Leadership within the UFC has yet to respond to McGregor’s comments, but this will certainly be one of the biggest stories to watch in the time after this event.
Tyron Woodley defeated Stephen Thompson via majority draw to retain his welterweight title in a fantastic fight and Joanna Jedrzejczyk successfully defended her UFC women’s strawweight championship with a unanimous decision win over Karolina Kowalkiewicz.
