Conservative icon Sarah Palin endorses Trump for president

“I’m proud to endorse Donald J. Trump for president,”the 2008 Republican vice presidential nominee said in a statement provided by his campaign”.

One of those evangelicals is Nelson Montalvo, who lives in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.

Palin says Trump is a proven leader from outside Washington, D.C. who can get things done.

Still, Palin’s endorsement at the very least brings even more attention to Trump’s campaign at a critical point in the race.

The night before former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin announced her endorsement of Donald Trump, her oldest son was arrested in connection with an alleged drunken domestic violence incident involving his girlfriend.

“What he has been able to do, which is really ticking people off, which I’m glad about – he’s going rogue left and right”, Palin said, referencing the name of her 2009 memoir. Palin actually endorsed Cruz when he was running for the Senate, and he’s said he wouldn’t have made it there without her support.

He said that he’s “not thinking” about his running mate, and he’s focused on trying to “win”.

Palin will also be joining Trump at two events Wednesday, including a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Mr Trump, on a three-stop visit to Iowa, promised reporters that a “special guest” would be at the third and final of his stops.

“He is from the private sector, not a politician”, Palin said in an animated speech after joining the business mogul and former host of TV’s “The Apprentice” onstage. That came after Palin’s daughter Bristol ripped Cruz’s “arrogance” for thinking a Trump endorsement would hurt her mom. “They all respect her a lot”.

The 2008 vice presidential candidate said her ultimate aim, however, would be to dismantle the agency.

“I don’t think to start off with, that’s something she would want to do”, Trump told NBC’s Savannah Guthrie on the “Today” show.

Standing in front of a life-size, rifle-toting model of the actor in full cowboy gear, Trump accepted the endorsement of Aissa Wayne at the John Wayne Birthplace Museum in Winterset, Iowa. “Sarah Palin’s support is a testament to my message to “Make America Great Again”, he said.
