Cool, dry weather through the weekend. “S” word next week?
Friday morning will support lows in the upper 20s and lower 30s with highs in the lower to mid-50s. A few snow flurries and possibly an occasional snow shower could be seen Tuesday, but don’t expect any significant accumulation.
THURSDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear to partly cloudy skies will be around, with a cold overnight low temperature of 23 degrees.
NEXT WEEK: There’s the potential for some much colder air to move in next week! Temperatures rebound into the 40s for Friday and Saturday.
On Sunday, windy conditions look to return from the northwest as a cold front moves through in the morning.
Even with sunshine throughout the day, temperatures only warm into middle and upper 50’s by the afternoon.
Temperatures plunged into the single digits overnight.
Weekend is quiet and average with highs in the 40s.
Tonight we’ll see clouds begin to move out during the late night hours. A few showers or sprinkles will remain possible late Friday night overnight into pre-dawn Saturday. The strong cold front will arrive Sunday night bringing the colder air back to the eastern third of Oklahoma early next week. Morning lows will reach the low 30s north of I-10, mid 30s along I-10, and near 40 at the coastline.
