Cool, dry weekend forecast

Today’s forecast calls for sunny skies with a high of 42 and an overnight low of 24.

Wednesday: Partly sunny, with a high near 38. High temperatures near: 54 in Beaumont, 53 in Orange, and 53 in Port Arthur. South winds 10 to 15 miles per hour. Wind chill values between 5 and 15.

The next storm will move through Friday night into early Saturday morning.

The typical cool and dry pattern with sunshine and highs in the 50s will take over Tuesday afternoon through Thursday.

Any precipitation here is not expected before Monday night, with a 30 percent chance of snow, rising to 50 percent Tuesday and Tuesday night, according to the forecast.

Tuesday night and wednesday…Partly cloudy. The active, unsettled weather pattern looks to continue through the latter half of the week with highs in the 40s and 50s, variable to mostly cloudy skies and the option for rain. West wind around 10 miles per hour. Temperatures will fall back to the upper teens tonight under a partly cloudy sky and light south, southwest winds. Cloudy, with a high near 35. Temperatures will finally climb above the freezing mark as they warm in to the lower to mid 30’s.
