Cooler day Monday, heat returns this week in central Oklahoma

Today across the Knoxville area, sunny skies are forecast with highs in the lower 80s. Then partly cloudy in the afternoon with highs 80 to 85. Winds: Northeast 2-7 miles per hour.

FridayA 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms before 9am. Highs from the mid to upper 70s at the beaches to the mid 80s to lower 90s inland. Otherwise Massachusetts will see partly sunny skies today before the chance of heavy rain on Tuesday. South southwest wind 5 to 10 miles per hour.

Today: Partly Sunny, Scattered Showers/Storms(30%). Low around 55. Breezy, with a south southeast wind 10 to 18 miles per hour becoming west after midnight. New precipitation amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible.

Wednesday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 11 am. Partly cloudy Monday night with a low around 54. Southeast wind around 5 miles per hour.

Thursday: A 30 percent chance of showers. Low near: 66. High near: 92.

Thursday night will be partly cloudy with a low of 59. East wind 5 to 15 miles per hour. Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 85 degrees.
