CoolPad Brings Fingerprint Sensor to Budget-Range Smartphone
Although Coolpad has yet to announce the Dazen Note 3, the name suggests that the device will belong to phablet category. Since both Dazen 1 and Dazen X7 ship with Android 4.4 KitKat operating system right out of the box, there’s a high chance that the Dazen Note 3 will come with the same version onboard. It also features a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.
Chinese Smartphone company, Coolpad, is all set to release another addition to Dazen, the Note 3. The device will be priced under Rs 10,000. The device was unveiled in China earlier this month, and the company claimed that it has crossed 2.6 million registrations in seven days. The highlight of the phone is the fingerprint scanner which is said to support the 360 degree rotation of the finger and provide speedy recognition. This is paired with 2GB of RAM and the Dazen Note 3 comes with 16GB of on-board storage. It would also consist of a 13 MP rear camera with a LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera.
Anyhow, the Coolpad Dazen Note 3 comes in White and Black colors and is expected to be cost around Rs. The phone is said to be backed by a 3,000 mAH battery.
The Chinese company Coolpad is already present on the Indian smartphone market with two products: Dazen 1 and Dazen X7. The availability and exact price in India is yet unknown, but the company has assured it will soon become available on Snapdeal.
Dazen is a sub brand of Qiku, a joint venture between Qihu 360 Technology and Coolpad Group.
