Initially, this device was launched as QIKU in the Chinese market, where it has a fingerprint sensor on the back, which can be unlocked under 0.5 seconds, says the company.
The company also said it will partner with Videocon to manufacture smartphones in the country and will roll out almost half a million devices from its facility in Maharashtra.
Breaking a price barrier, Coolpad Note 3 is the first phone in the price bracket to offer 3GB RAM and a fingerprint scanner. Coolpad also announced that they will be investing over $300 million in India on Manufacturing, R&D and ID design of its smartphones.
