Coronation Street’s Michael Le Vell warns on-screen daughter Brooke Vincent
In a video released by the Daily Mirror, Le Vell can be seen saying to Vincent: “Hopefully no big mistakes, eh?”
“It’s daunting when you think of the figures”.
But he revealed: “We are on lockdown in case people are tempted to go out and get p****d!”
The Websters are now entangled in a relationship drama after Sally Webster (played by Sally Dynevor) kissed Kevin – her ex husband – despite being engaged to Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine).
Michael Le Vell, 50, who plays Weatherfield’s Kevin Webster admitted that he often mucks up during rehearsals. She was only following a guy in a suit.
“Form the viewer’s point of view it should be a lot more interesting because it’s characters you’ve spent a lot of time investing in and falling in love with over the yeas an and it will be them telling the story”.
Though Michael insists Kevin is the “innocent victim” and put a stop to the kiss right away, the encounter will have consequences for his friendship with Tim. “But I believe things could be worked out between Kevin and Tim. I am not certain about Sally and Tim”.
“I think he [Tim] is going to be more upset to lose Kevin as a friend than Sally as a fiance”, the 50-year-old actor said.
Despite the fact Michael starred in the live tram crash episode and he is well practised at the different methods of filming, he told MirrorTV: “No it doesn’t ease the pressure”.
As for their daughter, Sophie, she’s taking a mature approach, Brooke revealed.
Fans of the hit ITC soap will know that devout Christian Sophie (Brook Vincent) was Sally Webster’s biggest chance to outdo her pals in the boasting Olympics as the young, headstrong teenager contemplated her career after leaving school an A* student. “It’s showing a bit more of me growing up, in a way”. He can’t wait for the return of Sally Ann Matthews, and neither can I. Describing her as fantastic to work with, he adds, “She’s a such a wonderful person to be around, and a wonderful actress…and she did know her lines, every day”. “It was like real life” she tells us, “I was like, I’ll sit up straight and I won’t be lounging, and it was like my Mum got a new boyfriend in a way”.
