Corrie live episode viewer proposes via Rovers Return blackboard

So – what are the Platts going to do next now that they’ve done away with drug dealer Callum Logan?

The stars of Coronation Street have expressed their delight at taking part in Wednesday night’s live show.
Everybody wants to make their proposal memorable, but it doesn’t get much more memorable than proposing live on television on your favourite soap!
The ITV soap has been preparing for an hour long live episode to celebrate the shows 60th anniversary.
Kylie is also struggling as she says: “I feel like my head is going to explode”.
One lucky viewer’s tweet will even be selected to feature on the Rovers’ empty blackboard at the end of the episode, while you can also help choose the songs to soundtrack Andrea and Lloyd’s leaving party.
A barrage of posts on Twitter followed, including one from the actress herself which read: “You never answered me @LauriebrettX how is @AdamWoodyatt?…”
It was a gripping hour of television that was seamless despite the pressures and challenges that come with producing a programme like Coronation Street live.
Two weeks before Corrie went live the cast embarked on an intense rehearsal schedule to ensure every second on screen was executed to perfection.
