Could sacked Stephanie Davis fall back on her music career following Hollyoaks
“Her contract has been terminated with immediate effect“, they told various publications, including Mail Online and Mirror Celeb.
However that was before any explanation was giving as to why she was abruptly axed.
A spokesperson said: “Stephanie Davis will no longer be filming Hollyoaks”.
Channel 4 bosses have chose to terminate her contract meaning she won’t film anymore scenes as her character Sinead O’Connor.
But now, in a statement released her agent, the sad truth behind Stephanie’s dismissal has come to light. Eat a good breakfast.
She joined the series in 2010 as O’Connor alongside her on-screen relatives, stepmother Diane, father Rob and brother, Finn. “I’ve kind of grown up here, which has been mental”.
Just a few months ago, Stephanie had revealed her excitement over signing a new year-long contract, telling Daily Star: “I’m really happy”.
While James has since deleted the tweet fans are in no doubt it was a dig at his former colleague after she famously starred in the BBC programme Over the Rainbow where she auditioned to star as Dorothy in the stage version of The Wizard of Oz.

Stephanie’s character was introduced to the show in 2010 as part of the O’Connor family, with Ross Adams recently being cast as Sinead’s cousin.
Davis was nominated in the best actress category in the 2014 Soap Awards.
