Couple arrested after posting pictures with stolen money to Facebook
Posting the pictures on Facebook was either arrogant or just plain dumb, especially since the photos are the main reason why the two robbery suspects were arrested and placed into custody.
A bank robber got busted after he posts bragging pictures on Facebook with huge wads of cash.
According to NBC12, John Mogan, 28, and Ashley Duboe, 24 appear to be flaunting the money in several photos posted to Morgan’s Facebook page.
Although Mogan has very recognizable tattoos on his face and neck, investigators allege Duboe applied makeup to cover them before driving him to the bank.
The police received tip offs which eventually lead them to Mogan and a background search showed that he had recently been released from prison after another bank robbery in 2010.
The Facebook photos, which included the two suspects embracing with the money, Mogan using the brick of bills as a phone, and even stuffed in his mouth, surfaced four days later.
This isn’t Mogan’s first bank robbery. Mogan was on parole for that robbery when he was arrested for this newest one.
They were each charged with felony robbery, and ordered held on $250,000 bond.
