Court date set for singer Chris Brown

Chris Brown has been released from jail on a $250,000 bail, after being arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon, reports US Weekly. Police arrested Brown on Tuesday on s. A search warrant was served and everyone in Brown’s home was brought outside as the police did a protective sweep of the home.
Earlier in the day, he took to social media to deny the accusations.
Tuesday, however, the R&B artist was arrested and charged with assault and battery with a deadly weapon after Baylee Curran claimed Brown threatened her with a gun.
The Loyal singer later emerged from his home, before he was seen in the back of a police vehicle being taken into custody.
After completing a series of court-ordered anger management classes, Brown was also accused of throwing a brick at his mother’s vehicle.
During the standoff Brown posted videos to Instagram slamming police and invoking the phrase “black lives matter” as if it is some sort of get out of jail free card.
Curran said that she was admiring a piece of diamond jewelry in Brown’s kitchen when the singer and his friends demanded that she leave the house. Refusing to sign the document, she made a decision to leave her phone at the rapper’s home.
Ray also questioned the authenticity of Curran’s comments.
A New York Police Department spokeswoman said Curran was wanted for a grand larceny that took place inside the posh Plaza Hotel in October 2013.
At around 12 pm, Brown’s lawyer, Mark Geragos arrived on scene.

“We have a lot of famous people living in the area, but have never had this much problems”, said one resident of the neighborhood. They didn’t say what assistance the woman needed. The woman called 911 claiming Brown had pulled his weapon during a disagreement. This ended the standoff and allowed cops to execute a search warrant of the property.
The Grammy-winning singer has had multiple run-ins with law enforcement.
In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty to a felony charge for assaulting Rihanna and received five years’ probation. The incident happened at a private home in Los Angeles during the early hours of Tuesday morning, according to TMZ.
