Cousins throws career-high 4 TDs, Redskins rout Saints 47-14

Ultimately, this game will come down to turnovers, and neither team is good at forcing them. While the Saints don’t have a very good secondary, the Redskins might very well have a worse secondary.

Things would only get better for the defense as they looked to have forced another three-and-out for the Saints.

In addition, Brees will get the opportunity to throw against the Redskins’ secondary that has given up 7 touchdowns to zero interceptions to away teams. The Redskins actually built a comfortable enough lead that Kirk Cousins saw his day end before the end of the fourth quarter, and not due to injury.
