Craig David made an EPIC return on The X Factor
Che Chesterman has been in jeopardy twice before, and he was also the first artist to perform at every stage of the show.
In his first main performance though, Ché transformed the stage into a 60s style USA diner to perform Valerie by The Zutons – previously covered by Mark Ronson and Amy Winehouse. Duo Reggie N Bollie are set to duet with Craig David, after rapper Shaggy allegedly pulled out at the last minute.
Reggie “N” Bollie followed with a medley of Spice Up Your Life and Boom Boom Boom by Spice Girls and Outhere Brothers, which Simon described as “the weirdest song mash-up I’ve heard, it was like having a strawberry and liver milkshake”.
Her soaring vocal prompted Simon to declare: “I think you’re an angel – an angel has come to Wembley and just sung the roof off!”
This time it was Rita’s turn to get critical, as she branded the performance “a bit cruise ship”.
Louisa Johnson is far and away the favourite, with bookmakers William Hill having her at 1/5 to win this year’s competition.
For the acts’ second performances, they were joined by some big names.
Louisa Johnson and Reggie “N” Bollie will battle it out for the X Factor crown on Sunday night.
17-year-old Louisa got to perform with her mentor as they duo belted out musical classic And I’m Telling You.
“You started trembling but now you’ve come up and you’re literally floating”.
Tonight, “The X Factor” voters had to make a key decision: Who to eliminate among the remaining three acts?
The competition was keen to showcase its past successes with last year’s victor Ben Haenow uniting with 2006 victor Leona Lewis for a duet of his new release Slamming Doors and her hit Run.
Che Chesterman, 19, who was mentored by Nick Grimshaw, received the fewest public votes on Saturday night and was voted off in third place.
