Crash involving limousine injures 12, 2 critically
Eleven people have been injured, five critically, after a limousine crashed into two cars in southern California. At about 8:15 p.m., a stretch limousine was heading eastbound on Newhall Ranch Road, just east of the 5 Freeway.
According to KABC, the only person who wasn’t injured was the limo driver.
Drivers and passengers were among those hurt, and have been transferred to four hospitals in the local area. Another vehicle was also struck by the limo, he said. No further information was immediately available on Sunday. Deputy Sheriff Thomas Brooks at the Santa Clarita Sheriff’s station said the initial report shows that the limousine may have run a red light.
