Cris Carter’s Son DQ’d After Idiotic ‘Celebration’
Several Redblacks players chased Carter down the sideline, and some made physical contact with him. A major foul penalty and an ejected followed, forcing Carter to join slotback SJ Green in the locker room after Green left with an injury in the first half.
Playing for the CFL’s Montreal Alouettes, Carter caught a touchdown Thursday night.
There’s only one way to celebrate a terrific touchdown catch.
Duron Carter’s football path has been a bit of a rocky one.
Carter enrolled at three different schools during his college career. Carter then spent a year at a junior college before transferring to Alabama, but he had eligibility issues there, as well, and he moved on to Florida Atlantic but didn’t play there either. The Vikings invited him to their rookie minicamp but were unimpressed with what they saw and elected not to sign him. However, he eventually took his talents north of the border and has been a standout player in his two professional stints with the Montreal Alouettes. Carter was not offered a reserve/future contract at season’s end.
Duron is the son of NFL Hall of Famer Cris Carter.
A wide receiver “as talented as any” in this year’s NFL Draft, according to Montreal’s general manager, Carter went undrafted in 2013 after teams questioned his off-the-field behavior. Look at the above video and tell me you’re still upset the team missed out on that guy.
