Cristiano Ronaldo ‘to land 20m windfall after being dropped from film role’
Hollywood producer Martin Scorsese has reportedly decided against using Real Madrid’s Cristiano Ronaldo in one of his upcoming films.
The Portugal captain was to be given a cameo in Martin Scorsese’s new film, The Manipulator.
It is claimed that CR7 had only purchased the penthouse suite as a result of landing the role, only for his big Hollywood debut to be delayed.
Channing Tatum is rumored to be the favorite to replace Ronaldo for the role in the movie.
Apparently Ronaldo’s luxurious new Manhattan loft, in the lavish Trump Tower building in New York, has been chosen as a location by the producers, and a small role was promised to the Los Blancos ace as a sweetener.
An agreement is believed to be in place that saw the Portuguese receive €10m for being sacked, with the 30-year-old’s lawyers rumoured to have negotiated a fee now worth double that.
The movie is based on the life of Italian millionaire Alessandro Potro, the man who supposedly inspired the 50 Shades of Grey books.
“I am sorry if he doesn’t feel valued, but in life you win a few and you lose a few. If I really have to give him €20million, I will give it to him with my own hands”.
