Cristiano Ronaldo Won’t Tell His Son Who His Mom Is… Yet
Manchester United is said to be keen to woo him back – and their chances could be good, with Spanish papers reporting today that Real Madrid have already lined up a replacement, possibly Chelsea’s Eden Hazard.
“Cristiano is such a fans’ favorite at United, he was so successful, such a hard worker…” One of the most skilled players in the history of the sport, the Portuguese star has only been with two clubs since he was 18 years old: two of the biggest clubs in the world in the Premier League’s Manchester United and La Liga’s Real Madrid.
Jose Camacho, a former Real Madrid player and manager, told Radio 4G show A la Contra he thinks Ronaldo would leave a void tough to fill but it wouldn’t spell disaster for Madrid.
“I’d never advise anyone not to come back to United”, Beckham is quoted as saying by the Manchester Evening News. I just have to say thank you for what he did for me. He won the best for him, I won the best for me.
“But there’s so many things that have changed over in recent years – the boss [Ferguson] leaving, Giggsy finishing, Keany finishing, myself, Scholesy, Butty, the Nevs… there’s so many things that have changed”.
The 30-year old Portugal captain recently released a film about his own life and his own shoe brand, CR7 Footwear, showing the three-time ballon d’Or holder has got more businesses beyond the field of play.
Even by Beckham’s standards, it has been a whirlwind nine days, playing matches in Papua New Guinea (Australasia), Nepal (Asia), Djibouti (Africa), Buenos Aires (South America), the Antarctic and Miami (North & Central America). I know 50 per cent [of the women] approach just for [celebrity] interest…
But the report goes on to say that United would face stiff competition from mega-rich French club Paris Saint-Germain for Ronaldo’s signature however.
“They’re never going to be with me, next to me because I have security and [they can] make him sleep so!”
“I respect English people a lot because they are very polite and they respect [you]”, he added.
“I’ve felt part of this project from the moment I joined”.
