Cruz defends his trustworthiness, blasts Trump, Rubio

Trump fired back with his own mocking statement, reiterating his threats and again bringing up the possibility of taking to court Cruz’s very eligibility to serve as president since he was born in Canada.
“If I want to bring a lawsuit it would be legitimate”, Trump said.
With just days left until the South Carolina Republican Presidential Primary, more candidates made stops throughout the Lowcountry on Wednesday. NBC News reported that Cruz is leading in its national poll, with 28 percent, beating Trump’s 26 percent.
Cruz, who has been a solid second in sc behind front-runner Trump, may be feeling squeezed, especially in the Palmetto State, where the majority evangelical Republican voters are supporting Trump over Cruz by 2 to 1.
“I have to say, Mr. Trump, you have been threatening frivolous lawsuits your entire adult life”, Cruz said.
“This has not been a typical race by any sense”, Cruz said at CNN’s SC town hall ahead of Saturday’s Republican primary.
“Look, it’s unfortunate. His campaign has not gotten the traction he wanted”. But her endorsement could be more crucial this year.
Kasich’s finish in New Hampshire has scrambled what might have been a do-or-die contest between Bush and Rubio here. He said Wednesday that his religious faith informs every decision he makes, including how he runs his campaign.
The Indian-American governor is the first female and minority governor of SC, and was viewed as a natural fit for Rubio’s campaign. Rubio supported a comprehensive immigration bill with a path to citizenship but he denies Cruz’s barbed characterization of it as “amnesty”.
