Cruz predicts split with Trump in Texas
Congressman Louie Gohmert said anyone who calls Cruz a liar is “the biggest liar”, in reference to GOP frontrunner Donald Trump. “And we’re seeing the effect of that this election”, he said, referring to the broad support for Trump.
“Super Tuesday I believe is the most important day of the entire primary”, Cruz told reporters following a rally at Gilley’s honky tonk in Dallas.
Cruz was joined Monday by former Texas Gov. Rick Perry and current Gov. Greg Abbott, top-of-the-line endorsements in the Lone Star State. “But I wouldn’t be surprised to see Donald win”.
“One of the problems for Cruz is he’s still having to manage the residue of pre-Trump expectations in a post-Trump world”, Henson said. Ted Cruz is strong and understands that politics can be a tough business. “Instead, we want a principled constitutionalist”.
Turning the large demographic away from the GOP could be the death knell for a national Republican candidate.

Mrs. Cruz says her husband will bring people of all background and social classes together due to their common moral principles. “At the end of tomorrow, Donald Trump is in all likelihood going to have a good chunk of delegates”.
“We watched him closely that he was going to do the things he said he was going to do and so far he has he’s been that kind of guy”, Crawford said. At that point, it will become abundantly clear this is a two-man race. “There’s a reason Louie [Gohmert] and I both need food tasters in the Capitol dining room”, he joked, counteracting all the effort Gohmert had made earlier to emphasize that Cruz is not hated by everyone in Congress, by reciting the names of all the House members who are willing to say they like Cruz. “It takes delegates to win the nomination – if you can’t win states, if you can’t win delegates, you’re not going to be the nominee”. Trump now has 82 delegates to Cruz’s 17.
Cruz pointed to Trump’s close ties with Clinton even quoting Trump as saying she’s, “one of the best Secretaries of State in history”.
“We are neck and neck with Donald Trump in Super Tuesday states all over the country”, he said.
