Curry, George win Player of Month honors
The Warriors advanced to 20-0 on the season as they hammered the Charlotte Hornets on 116-99 on Dell Curry Night in the Queen City.
Stephen Curry, who grew up in Charlotte and starred at nearby Davidson College, scored 28 points in the pivotal third quarter, including his team’s final 24.
He was 14 of 18 from the field, and eight of 11 from three-point range.
The Detroit Pistons overcame the Phoenix Suns 127-122 in overtime – having trailed by 16 points in the fourth quarter – while James Harden’s 24 points led the Houston Rockets to a 108-101 triumph over the New Orleans Pelicans.
The NBA’s reigning Most Valuable Player, Stephen Curry, has been incredible, lighting up defenses for a league-high 32 points per game during the streak. As for the rest of the National Basketball Association, that feat has only been accomplished once this season.
Curry said he promised his coach (Bob McKillop) he would complete his courses, and he said that he’ll get started on that when he can.

But midway through the third quarter Curry got rolling, launching deep 3-pointers, several times turning and jogging back down court well before the ball even went through the net.
He returned for his junior season and shifted from shooting guard to point guard, though Davidson failed to make the NCAA tournament, and Curry’s hot reputation took somewhat of a hit.
